Heartbreaking pictures have emerged which show a newborn baby girl being carried behind her mother's coffin after she passed away from Covid-19 shortly after she gave birth.
Samantha Willis, 35, died in hospital last week following a 16-day battle with coronavirus.
Mourners gathered in Londonderry, Northern Ireland on Monday to pay their respects, reports The Mirror.
Among the crowd who walked behind the funeral was a woman holding Samantha's baby daughter Eviegrace, who was born while she was poorly with the virus in hospital.
Samantha's husband Josh Willis took to Facebook where he wrote an emotional tribute to his late wife last week.
He also urged people to get the Covid-19 vaccine in a post on Twitter on Sunday, where he revealed that Samantha had not been vaccinated.
He wrote: "I spent hours in ICU on Thursday and Friday with my wife who passed away.
"It's real, the numbers are real. Get your vaccine so you or your family don’t have to go through what I have had to.
