Students were left surprised when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry joined them in an online poetry class.
The royal couple were met with open mouths and shock from the students who tuned in for their lesson.
They were guests of honour during a digital event organised by poetry group Get Lit for Black History Month.
Meghan, 39, also 'shared some of her favourite lines' with the aspiring poets and Prince Harry expressed a keen "interest" in the artform.
In a screengrab shared by Get Lit on Instagram, the Duke, 36, and his wife are seen beaming with joy as they introduce themselves to the participants.
The aspiring performers, aged between 13 and 19, were staring open-mouthed at the couple on the screen.
The class wrote alongside the photo: "We’ve saved the best for last! Guess who surprised our poetry class this weekend?!' the group wrote in the caption, before going on to gush about their special guests.
"It was the best weekend EVER! Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, were magic and kind and interested in poetry!'
Prince Harry and Prince William 'forced to talk' to each other and 'feud isn't healed'
"The Duchess even shared some of her favorite poetry lines. We are so grateful for their visit in honor of Black History Month. It goes down as most epic experience in Get Lit history!"
Although, it's not known when poems the Duchess of Sussex chose to share, she has previously recited lines from A Note from the Beach by Matt Haig, as well as pieces from Maya Angelou.
On the website, the organisation explains it's working to "increase literacy, empower the youth, and inspire communities" through the art of poetry.
In the snap shared by Get Lit, Meghan and Harry are grinning from ear-to-ear and students stare back in shock.
One pupil even covered her mouth in surprise.
The pair were casually dressed for the occasion, with Prince Harry wearing a white polo shirt and a leather necklace. Meghan was modelling a pale blue button down and her long brunette hair left in loose waves.
