A potentially "arrogant" pose played to perfection by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a newly-released photo of the pair means they "want to be taken seriously as a power couple," according to a body language expert.
A stunning portrait of the pair was taken by Misan Harriman, a veteran photographer and activist, and released just days after one of the new King, his Queen Consort and the new Prince and Princess of Wales.
Posting his work on Instagram, Mr Harriman said: “The Duke & Duchess of Sussex moments before attending the opening ceremony of @OneYoungWorld last month."

His post included a side-on black and white snap of the pair also and comes just days after Buckingham Palace released a joint portrait with King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla and William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The images of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have ruffled some feathers and are loved by others.
And body language expert Adrianne Carter has some interesting thoughts on the images, too. She told the Daily Star there were shades of Princess Diana in Harry's face, and that the pair side-stepped coming across as "arrogant".
"Harry's head is slightly lowered and he’s looking up under slightly lowered brows, this is a reminiscent pose used often by his mother and is a submissive head dip and eyes raised, it makes him look friendly and warm," she said.
"His body is slightly turned towards Meghan, he’s allowing her to take the full attention."
Twitter commenters had said that Meghan was commanding attention in the photograph, too.
"Why do all the photos of Harry and Meghan have her in front and him hiding in the back?" James Luke asked on Twitter.

"Desperate for relevance," another person said.
And Adrianne Carter agreed that Meghan doesn't look as "warm and engaging" as Harry in their power pose.
"Meghan has her chin raised slightly, this can be a sign of confidence or arrogance depending on the context it’s used. In this instance with the full frontal posture and facing the camera she’s going for a confident pose," she said.
"It’s not as warm and engaging as Harry’s body language display."
And in the second of Harriman's pictures, the one of the pair from the side-on, Carter said the Sussexes "want to be taken seriously as a power couple".
"Both look solemn but there’s slightly more warmth to Meghan’s facial expression in this photo. They look like they’re standing to attention and want to be taken seriously as a power couple," she told us.
