Scottish political leaders appeared on Channel 4’s leadership debate as the programme quickly addressed the recent “sleaze” stories that have engulfed Westminster and the Conservative party. After Scottish Tory leader defended Prime Minister Boris Johnson stating he would never make the insensitive comments on lockdown, Nicola Sturgeon took aim at the Tories for their “corruption”. But host Krishnan Guru-Murthy turned his gaze on the first minister stating she could not take a “moral high ground” against the Conservatives considering the sexual harassment allegations which have plagued the SNP.
